Miurajiro Gallery
I went to see “Ruri mo Hari mo,” a group exhibition being held at “Miurajiro Gallery,” a gallery in Kodenmacho. It is said to be an exhibition planned by a curator named TAN.
【Ruri mo Hari mo】
The saying “Ruri mo hari mo teraseba hikaru” means that gems like lapis lazuli and crystal, even when mixed among other things, will glitter and stand out once light is cast upon them. I hope you will enjoy the pleasure of syncing with the wavelength of the energy that each work radiates.

The six artists exhibiting this time are as follows.
Mina Akagi
Mina Akagi, who is exhibiting from the Kansai region, is an artist belonging to TEAM-TAN, which is also involved in organizing the show.
Many of her works take the sea as their motif, and she incorporates materials such as seashells, adopting sparkling, glittering media.
Every work is an elaborate, finely detailed painting, and it seems she sets things up so that even works of the same size differ in price according to the amount of labor involved.
The titles and price credits are also handwritten on black butterflies she made herself.
The use of color is beautiful, and I stood there transfixed, losing all track of time.
It was so good that I acquired one piece for our collection. I look forward to her future activity.
Yumi Nakai
The large-scale work at the far center as you enter was painted by Yumi Nakai.
Kei Hanabishi
Kei Hanabishi is skilled at depicting refined, elegant women. With the current boom in bijinga (paintings of beautiful women), she must be riding the wave.
Niko Hirano
Niko Hirano had only a single piece on display, and it already bore a red sticker. She seems to be a popular artist.
It is drawn with colored pencils and transparent watercolor. Perhaps thanks to her drawing skill, the touch is very delicate, and there is a distinctive, faintly pale and wistful worldview.
She was an artist whose other works I would have liked to see more of.
Takuya Mitani
He is a nihonga (Japanese-style painting) artist whose work carries an air of the uncanny.
He is quite an interesting artist.
Hiromi Moegi
Hiromi Moegi is also an artist belonging to TEAM-TAN.
She has a wide range of painting styles and seems to have great depth.
She, too, appears to be an artist from the Kansai region.
Miurajiro Gallery is a very calm gallery in which to view art, and I was able to spend a relaxed, leisurely time there.
