He has done many collaborations with fashion brands, and around the same time the solo exhibition below was also on.

These days he seems to have based his activities in New York.
New City
Held for just two days, March 20–21, 2018, was a solo exhibition called “New City.” The venue was Ba-tsu Art Gallery in Omotesando.

In collaboration with the international fashion brand Saturdays NYC, the show centers on photographs shot on location in New York—the city where he is now based—as its motif.

Centering on landscapes and figures, the works translate the here-and-now of the place into photographs with Konami’s characteristic compositions.

Every photograph is brilliantly realized as a work through his distinctive sensibility and mode of expression.
What always impresses me when I look at Konami’s photographs is a cinematic sensibility that delivers the subject to us just as it was—its warmth, its coldness, its breathing, its very air.
There is a raw, live immediacy there, as though the viewer could reach out and touch it. That is the point I’m drawn to most.

Posters and a photo book were on sale.
