I dropped by the “Contemporary Art Collecting Course” by art dealer Kazuhiro Mitsui, held at Tagboat.
Mr. Mitsui has experience working at the Tokyo branch of the world-renowned Wildenstein Gallery (NY), and he is currently at the forefront of the field, buying and selling artworks for individual collectors.

Because Mr. Mitsui knows the field firsthand, his talk included stories that only an insider could tell, and it was tremendously interesting and instructive.

The importance of tracing the flow of history that art has woven, how to handle works in collecting and exhibiting them, how to choose frames—with easy-to-understand examples and a smooth delivery, the time flew by.
It was a rich, substantial talk, studded with behind-the-scenes anecdotes and confidential stories that could never be written in a book.

I also purchased his book, and it is an art book unlike any before it. It is sure to tickle the intellectual curiosity not only of collectors but of anyone who loves art.
Highly recommended!
