Sei Art Space
Walking from Roppongi Station toward the Nishi-Azabu intersection, just past Roppongi Hills on your left, you’ll find Sei Art Space. I’m told the gallery opened in June 2017, and this was my first visit.

Beniko Choji Solo Exhibition
I went to see Beniko Choji’s solo exhibition, “The Silent Body, or the Truth.”
I was shown around by a beautiful gallerist, who explained everything to me with great care.

It’s refreshingly all women’s portraiture. The model is—Aika Yoshioka, perhaps?

In one corner there was a display of posters and original drawings by the artist Tsukiko Nakamura (the originals were not for sale).
It’s still early in the run, but roughly 50% of the works have already sold.

The small pieces are priced at just under 150,000 yen—pleasantly affordable.
