Ayako Rokkaku “Bright wind, another step”
From late May to July 1, 2018, Ayako Rokkaku held a solo exhibition in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
It is far from Japan and not easy to visit, but it seems that a considerable number of works were on display.

In the art world, the advantages of being based in Japan are steadily being lost. Once an artist gains a certain degree of recognition, it has become the norm to go out into the world and broaden the scope of their activities. As a Japanese, it is a somewhat lonely situation, but the global success of Japanese artists is truly something to be glad about.
