Hiroto Ikeuchi “READY MADE”

We visited Seibu Shibuya, where sculptor Hiroto Ikeuchi’s solo exhibition “READY MADE” is being held.

His work, brimming with a cyberpunk mechanical vibe, is captivating just to look at. The show featured many headset-style pieces.

We were so mesmerized that before we knew it, we had drawn in close to inspect the details.

Away from the art floor, a mannequin that suddenly appeared on the menswear floor was also fitted with a piece by Hiroto Ikeuchi.

Dai Ah!!rt Exhibition

His work was also on display in the concurrently-running “Art That Makes You Cry Out — Dai Ah!!rt Exhibition.”

Does the price include the attached bicycle? We didn't ask for details, but every work was priced at "one million yen!"

Absurdly bulky earphones. The credit — "Lend me your earphones for a sec… wait, what is this?!" — is priceless.

Hiroto Ikeuchi stands out in this genre.
We’d love to see even more hardcore metal-heavy works, or something even sharper.
He seems to have published a collection of his work too — would love to check that out!
