[News] First Wave of Artists Announced for "Aichi Triennale 2019" — 32 Groups from 17 Countries and Regions to Participate!

The first wave of participating artists for the Aichi Triennale 2019 has been announced, with 32 artists unveiled.

Aichi Triennale 2019

The Aichi Triennale is Japan’s largest international art festival, held every three years since 2010.

Following the 2013 and 2016 editions, the fourth edition in 2019 will welcome more than 80 groups of artists from Japan and abroad.
In addition to the international contemporary art exhibition, the festival features cutting-edge works that traverse a variety of expressions, including a video program, performing arts, and a music program.

Journalist Daisuke Tsuda has been appointed as artistic director. Please refer to the video in which he discusses the theme and concept of the event.
