Robert Indiana, also famous for the “LOVE” sculpture in Nishi-Shinjuku, was honored with the memorial exhibition “LOVE & PEACE,” which I visited.

As with the Basquiat show before this, the Contemporary Art Foundation (CAF), led by ZOZO’s Yusaku Maezawa, again offered a wonderful initiative to view the works free of charge, making this a valuable exhibition in which Robert Indiana’s works are gathered together.

Isn’t he a rare artist who has cleared the difficulty and the high bar of expressing LOVE&PEACE so directly and unabashedly?
