I visited “THE ART LAB LAST SHOW,” the final exhibition of 2018 at Art Lab TOKYO, a gallery in Asakusabashi.
Tomoyoshi Sakamoto
The main attraction was Tomoyoshi Sakamoto, whose presence at the Doraemon exhibition still remains fresh in memory. Exactly one year earlier, in December 2017, his double solo exhibition was also held at Art Lab TOKYO.
The exhibition featured a total of four works this time, all of which were past pieces.
Asami Kono
This was the first time I had seen the work of Asami Kono, and her pieces left a strong impression on me.
The colors of her paint are beautiful, and her brushwork seemed light and graceful. I would love to see her figurative work as well.
