I visited the annual group exhibition held at Tambourin Gallery.
This year marks the ninth edition of the show, “FANTASTIC DAYS 2018.”

Inside the gallery, 105 artists’ works, all using tambourines as their support, are lined up in an impressive display.
Apparently the name Tambourin Gallery was not chosen for any particularly meaningful reason, but this project resonates with the gallery’s name, presenting a wealth of individual, distinctive tambourines.

The participating artists are apparently invited based on their existing relationships with the gallery.
The show gave the impression of featuring many well-known illustrators.
Works painted on tambourines somehow feel more playful than those on standard supports.
The prices are approachable too, so you might just find an unexpected treasure.
