[Solo Exhibition] Shinobu Hanazawa "The Turning World" @ Bambinart Gallery

【個展】花沢忍「まわる世界」@Bambinart Gallery

I visited Shinobu Hanazawa’s solo exhibition “The Turning World.” The venue is Bambinart Gallery.

Every work looked as if the brush had moved freely and expansively, and the lineup was full of pieces I liked very much.
The beautiful colors — especially the blues — struck me as vivid and clean.
The endearing little characters that appear here and there anchor each painting with an exquisite sense of balance, and each work rewards a slow, attentive viewing.

There is also the pleasure of checking the relationship between title and work, and there is a gentleness to it — as if she had wrapped everything up in something soft, refusing to overcomplicate art.

The work I liked most was, unfortunately, already marked with a red dot.
I would love to see much more from this artist. I’m sure our paths will cross again someday!
