GINZA TSUTAYA BOOKS
I visited Kohei Nawa’s solo exhibition “Throne -Louvre Pyramid-.”
The venue is “GINZA ATRIUM,” a floor space inside GINZA TSUTAYA BOOKS.

Kohei Nawa’s connection to GINZA TSUTAYA BOOKS dates back to 2017.
When GINZA TSUTAYA BOOKS opened in 2017, its intention was to “create works befitting a new TSUTAYA BOOKS themed around art and Japanese culture.” Responding to this, Kohei Nawa produced the golden throne “Throne (g/p_boy),” and this connection led to the present exhibition.

Throne -Louvre Pyramid-
The exhibition “Throne -Louvre Pyramid-” ran for only one week, from Tuesday, February 5, 2019 to Monday, February 11, 2019.

The main attraction, the “vacant thrones” of “Throne,” was presented in three pieces.

Multiples from the artist book “METAMORPHOSIS,” released at the same time, were also on display.

Kohei Nawa is a Japanese artist of true international standing, and it looks like he still has plenty of energy for what’s ahead.
I really can’t wait to see what he does next.
