8/ ART GALLERY

The Shibuya commercial complex “Hikarie” opened in April 2012, and at the same time Tomio Koyama Gallery opened “8/ ART GALLERY” there. It has now been announced that the gallery will close at the end of May 2019. I visited the “Tomio Koyama Gallery Collection Exhibition 5,” organized as the final show.

With the addition of a work by Takuro Kuwata, who is represented by KOSAKU KANECHIKA, the final show was given a colorful send-off.
It was a comfortable, easy-to-visit space right by the station. The staff were also friendly and easy to chat with, so its closing is truly regrettable.
