Saki Murakami solo exhibition
I visited Saki Murakami’s solo exhibition. The venue is Kobayashi Gallery in Ginza.

Saki Murakami was born in Gunma Prefecture in 1992 and is a copperplate-engraving (etching) artist who graduated from the Musashino Art University graduate school.
Even while in graduate school, she has won many awards—the Excellence Prize at “FACE 2015,” the Grand Prize at the “6th Yamamoto Kanae Print Grand Prize Exhibition,” the “Tokyo Wonder Wall Prize,” and more—a young artist drawing attention.

I was knocked out by the overwhelming power of the large works.
There were also many small works that drew me in. Faceless figures and motifs from unique perspectives—the restless, unsettling sensation conveyed by the works appeared with an irresistible force.
The works were priced from the ¥10,000s to the ¥30,000s, with various options—a setting easy to enter.
