I visited the two-person exhibition by Mari Shimizu and Hitomi Murakami.
The venue is Gallery “Zaroff” in Hatsudai.
Zaroff has a café on the first floor and a gallery on the second. The upper floor is shoes-off, so you remove your footwear before climbing the stairs.
Hitomi Murakami had been a fan of Mari Shimizu’s work for some time, and I’m told that is how this collaboration came about.
After viewing the show, I had a coffee. Their menu was extensive, but I chose the house blend. Rich, aromatic, and delicious (600 yen).
