[Art & Gourmet] A Gem of Italian Cuisine in Gaienmae — "BRAMASOLE"

【アート&グルメ】外苑前の珠玉イタリアン〜「BRAMASOLE(ブラマソーレ)」

BRAMASOLE

Allow us to introduce a wonderful Italian restaurant in Gaienmae.
About a one-minute walk from the Watari-um Museum along Killer-dori Street in Gaienmae, directly across from the gallery EUKARYOTE, stands the Italian restaurant “BRAMASOLE”. BRAMASOLE is run by a chef who trained at, and later became independent from, the celebrated Italian restaurant “Don Ciccio.”

This time, a local gallery owner arranged a seat for us, and we shared the meal together.
The omakase dinner course was refined in its seasoning, with fresh ingredients, and every dish through to dessert was delicious. The restaurant apparently has strong support from women gallerists, and it is said to have loyal fans who travel from as far as Roppongi.

The amuse-bouche was piping-hot freshly fried "panelle" — a chickpea paste served on a chick-shaped plate.

We had both white and red wine by the glass. Both were excellent.

With only a limited number of seats, this is a calm, grown-up establishment.
The service was superb and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. They apparently serve lunch as well. Highly recommended!
