I visited an exhibition in Shanghai by two Chinese artists, Lu Yang and Chen Tianzhuo. The gallery is BANK MAB SOCIETY.
BANK MAB SOCIETY
Lu Yang “Debut”
At Art Basel Hong Kong 2019, Lu Yang’s psychedelic video works left a lasting impression on me.
I was drawn into her works, which are marked by a distinctive sense of color and darkly poisonous motifs.

Chen Tianzhuo “Backstage Boys”
Chen Tianzhuo’s works were equally energetic.

I could feel the momentum of young Chinese artists.
The gallery’s atmosphere was also excellent — well worth the detour to see it.
