TOWA TEI “GLUE SCISSORS”
I visited TOWA TEI’s solo exhibition “GLUE SCISSORS” at hpgrp GALLERY TOKYO. The venue is hpgrp GALLERY TOKYO, located in Omotesando.
The exhibition centered on collage art works built on record jackets he has collected for years, layered with images picked from other album sleeves and magazines.
The exhibition title “GLUE SCISSORS” is also the name of a new music unit he has formed with Tomoo Gokita. Items from GLUE SCISSORS were also available for sale at the show.
