We visited the annual Tokyo University of the Arts Graduation & Postgraduate Works Exhibition.
Aki Moriyama presents paintings exploring the theme of “distortions of images” brought about by dolls.
As an artist who has already established her own distinctive world, she has been actively taking part in solo and group exhibitions.
She apparently has a solo exhibition planned for 2020 as well.
She gives the impression of an artist working with both feet firmly on the ground. She is an artist whose future activity we look forward to.
