Universal Music
Universal Music is running “Universal Music Art Project 17”.
An internal project was launched to coincide with the move to a new office, and with curation by Noboru Tsubaki, professor at Kyoto University of Art and Design, a wide range of art works are displayed throughout the office. *Not open to the general public.
The works assembled — centered on young artists handled by ARTOTHÈQUE — are scattered throughout the office and displayed in places where employees and visiting stakeholders can see them.
Exhibited Works
Below is an introduction to the works displayed within the office.
While the works are displayed in a closed, invitation-only office, they are seen by musicians during interview sessions and in video-conference rooms with the home office in America — meaning there is an environment in which the works reach music-industry insiders and, through some spark of connection, may extend outward.
We look forward to future developments, including collaborations between music and art.
