“Hammershøi and Danish Painting”
The “Hammershøi and Danish Painting” exhibition, which closed midway through its run at Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum due to measures against the spread of the novel coronavirus (February 29, 2020 – closed on voluntary suspension). The traveling exhibition at Yamaguchi Prefectural Art Museum also came to a close on June 7.

Limited-Time Online Shop Opens
Starting Thursday, April 30, 2020, the special online museum shop for the “Hammershøi and Danish Painting” exhibition opened for a limited period.
Museum goods sold at a typical exhibition are only permitted to be sold within the museum during the show, as added value for visitors. This was a special opportunity.
According to East Inc., the company that planned the museum goods, not all items sold at the museum will be offered online, and stock also varies by item.
