Asuka Anastacia Ogawa
We visited the solo exhibition of Japanese-Brazilian artist Asuka Anastacia Ogawa. The venue was Blum & Poe, a gallery just outside Harajuku Station.

Asuka Anastacia Ogawa was born in Tokyo in 1988.
As a child, she moved from urban Tokyo to a rural area of Brazil; in her mid-teens she relocated to Sweden, and then to London, where she studied at Central Saint Martins. She is currently based between New York and Los Angeles.

The children’s expressions, with their elongated eyes gazing intently back at us, left a lasting impression.
