Group Exhibition “10TH (Part 1)”
We visited “10TH,” the 10th-anniversary group exhibition at WAITINGROOM in Edogawabashi.
The exhibition is divided into two parts: Part 1 focuses on two-dimensional works, and Part 2 centers on video works.

WAITINGROOM is a gallery founded by director Ashikawa. It started in 2009 out of a room in his own home, moved to Ebisu in autumn 2010, and then to its current Edogawabashi location in autumn 2017, now marking ten years.
The gallery presents young artists at accessible prices, aiming to broaden the base of collectors. Many young collectors are drawn to Ashikawa’s attentive and easy-to-follow explanations of the works.
Even for popular artists, the gallery maintains a fair first-come, first-served sales rule.
Some may hesitate at the Edogawabashi location, but this is a highly recommended gallery for those starting their first art collection.
