“TOPICA PICTUS” is a project that compiles approximately 150 works from the Zero Thumbnail series that Kenjiro Okazaki created during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. We visited “TOPICA PICTUS Kyobashi” at Nantenshi Gallery in Kyobashi, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary.

Nantenshi Gallery 60th Anniversary Art Book
On the occasion of the exhibition and to commemorate the gallery’s 60th anniversary, an art book featuring printed drawings was produced and sold in a “limited edition of 400 copies.”
Designed as a picture-book box in which viewers can freely play — overlapping torn sections and inserting cut-out picture fragments cast from templates.
