The “Contemporary Art Foundation (CAF)” is an organization established by the former president of ZOZOTOWN, Yusaku Maezawa.
CAF aims to promote knowledge and cultural literacy in contemporary art through activities such as holding contemporary art exhibitions, and to support young artists and young musicians in improving their skills, thereby contributing to the advancement of contemporary art.
The “CAF Award,” created in line with that mission, is an art award targeting students in high schools, universities, graduate schools, and vocational schools, aiming to nurture young artists.
Launched in 2014, this 2020 edition marks the 7th installment.
