SHIBUYA STYLE vol.14
We visited “SHIBUYA STYLE vol.14,” the recurring group exhibition of young artists held by Seibu Shibuya. This edition brought together 48 artists, and the venue was packed with a wide variety of works, drawing lively crowds.
Lately, the attention that general collectors are directing toward emerging fine artists has been intense, and there is an increasingly strong tendency for support to concentrate on popular artists.

From the moment the doors opened on the first day, the venue was crowded with collectors.
There appeared to be some confusion regarding the sales process, and a few collectors could be seen pressing the staff for information. It offered a glimpse of one side of the overheating art market.
