Kazuki Umezawa: Image, Aroundscape, Particle
We visited Kazuki Umezawa’s solo exhibition “Image, Aroundscape, Particle.” The venue is RICOH ART GALLERY.

This project is the inaugural exhibition of RICOH ART GALLERY, which has newly opened in Ginza. The space is dedicated to exhibiting artworks created using RICOH’s “StareReap 2.5” printing technology.

StareReap 2.5 is a technique developed based on RICOH’s proprietary technology. It is a three-dimensional printing technology that can precisely express the layered dimensionality of paint, the tonality, and the texture of an artwork.
A notable recent example of works using StareReap 2.5 is the special edition by painter Yukimasa Ida.
This exhibition centers on unique (original) works that combine StareReap 2.5 with hand painting on the printed surface, along with three edition works (each in an edition of 30).

RICOH ART GALLERY is a limited-time space, and will continue to present exhibitions by emerging artists on a rolling basis.
