I visited LOTTA (ayano nakano)’s solo exhibition. The venue is SORTone, a space in Jingumae.
LOTTA is an artist born in 1993. Rather than attending an art school, she has taught herself to paint.
Approachable, catchy characters are her signature, and her work is winning a following largely through social media.
The works were sold by lottery, and appeared to be drawing many entries.
