Tomohiro Takahashi “ANIMISM”
I visited Tomohiro Takahashi’s solo exhibition “ANIMISM.”
The venue is COHJU contemporary art (Kyoto).
Tomohiro Takahashi completed his master’s degree at Kyoto University of the Arts Graduate School in March 2021, and this marks his first solo exhibition. He creates pop paintings featuring stuffed animals as motifs.
The works are distinguished by their painterly surfaces, which appear almost collage-like.
He is already an emerging artist attracting attention, with opportunities to present his work in overseas exhibitions.
An artist whose future activity we look forward to.
