Christopher Hartmann “state of life, may i live, may i love”
We visited “state of life, may i live, may i love,” the first solo exhibition in Asia by London-based artist Christopher Hartmann. The venue is T&Y Projects in Tennoz.
The motifs are scenes of crumpled bed sheets and pillows left in disarray.
Traces of everyday life linger in these private bedrooms, but through Hartmann’s distinctive use of light and rendering of wrinkles, they seem elevated into art.
