Damien Hirst “Natural History”
To coincide with the run of Frieze London 2022, I went to London, England.
I visited the mega-gallery “GAGOSIAN (Britannia Street, London),” located just a short walk from Kings Cross Station, famous for Harry Potter’s “Platform 9¾.”
*Incidentally, note that GAGOSIAN in London is also on Grosvenor Hill.

In the large venue, as the title suggests, many works from the “Natural History” series—dead animals preserved in formalin—were on display.

According to an art professional who accompanied me in London, Damien Hirst’s atelier is based in London, and perhaps it’s precisely because it’s London that opportunities to display such major works can be realized.
