From around spring to summer 2022, Rika Minamitani has been incorporating figurative motifs and undergoing a shift in her work.
Since her exhibition at Bambinart Gallery in January 2021, this marks her long-awaited return to a solo show.
With her signature figures, animals, and tattoo-like motifs, and her rich, versatile use of color, Rika Minamitani continues to captivate the viewer.
I truly hope she will grow into an artist recognized on the international stage.
