“Intersection” at Ginza Tsutaya Books Atrium
I visited the group exhibition “Intersection,” which brought together works of No.100 size and larger.
The venue is the “Atrium,” a space located at the center of Ginza Tsutaya Books.

Mori Yurara’s presentation marked her first exhibition outside of academic settings since completing her studies at Tokyo University of the Arts. The three No.150 works titled “Punch” had an overwhelming presence.

On the opposite wall, symmetrically arranged, were three of Yukino Yamanaka’s works, also No.150 in size.

Just as the exhibition title suggests, the space filled with large-scale works became a site where eight artists — each with entirely different styles and concepts — “intersected,” captivating viewers.
