Mahiro Kobayashi
Editor-in-chief of art on. Since founding the site in 2017 he has covered contemporary art exhibitions, artists and art fairs, writing more than 1,200 articles. Alongside museums and galleries across Japan he reports from Art Fair Tokyo, Art Basel, Frieze, Kiaf and Salone del Mobile, documenting each with his own photography. He is the representative director of biscuit inc., which also runs the contemporary art gallery biscuit gallery (Shinjuku, Tokyo and Karuizawa); the relationship between the two is disclosed in our editorial policy.
