Corrections

When a published article contains a factual error, art on corrects it promptly.

How we correct

  • We amend the text, and state at the end of the article what was corrected, why, and on what date.
  • If the error goes to the substance of the article, we add [Correction] to the headline.
  • For changes that do not affect the content of the article, such as typos or broken links, we may omit a correction notice.

Removal

We may remove an article, or make it private, in the following cases.

  • When a rights holder asks us to stop publishing an image of a work
  • When someone we have covered tells us that continued publication is inappropriate, and the art on editorial team judges the request to be reasonable
  • When the premise of the article as a whole is wrong and a correction cannot address it

Even when an article is removed, we keep a record of the fact and the reason.

Where to tell us

Please send anything you notice about the content of an article to press@art-on.jp. It helps if you include the URL of the article and which part your message concerns.
